What is MY IVVI Rentals Marketplace?
MY IVVI Rentals Marketplace is an online platform where people can browse, book, and list rental items and equipment. Depending on the listing, rentals may be offered by MY-IVVI Inc. or by independent hosts and local suppliers using the platform.
How does MY IVVI Rentals work?
Guests can browse listings, review pricing and terms, submit a booking request or book instantly where available, complete payment, and arrange pickup or delivery. Hosts and suppliers can create listings, set pricing, choose booking settings, and manage rental requests through the platform.
Is MY IVVI Rentals free to use?
Creating an account and browsing listings may be free. Booking charges, service fees, deposits, delivery charges, and other costs may apply depending on the listing.
Do I need an account to book or list?
You may need an account to access certain booking, dashboard, messaging, or listing features.
For Guests / Renters
How do I rent an item?
Choose the item you want, review the listing details, submit a booking request or book instantly if available, complete the required payment, and follow the pickup or delivery instructions.
Do I need a government ID to rent?
Yes, government-issued identification may be required, especially for higher-value items, delivery orders, licensed equipment, or business-use rentals.
How do I pay for a rental?
Payments are made through the payment methods available at checkout, including Stripe and PayPal, where enabled. A partial payment may be collected at booking, with the remaining balance due before pickup or delivery, where applicable.
When is the balance payment due?
Where a partial payment is collected at booking, the remaining balance must usually be paid before pickup or delivery, unless the listing or booking terms state otherwise.
Can I book instantly?
Some listings offer instant booking, while others require host approval. The booking method depends on the host’s listing settings.
Can I request delivery?
Yes, if delivery is offered on the listing. Delivery fees, minimum delivery charges, distance limits, and scheduling rules may apply.
What happens if I cancel?
Refunds depend on the cancellation policy selected for the listing, such as Flexible, Moderate, or Strict, and on when the cancellation is made.
What happens if I return an item late?
Late returns may result in extra rental charges, late fees, additional pickup or delivery costs, or deductions from the security deposit.
What if I receive a damaged or incorrect item?
Report the issue immediately at pickup, delivery, or within 24 hours of receiving the item. Include photos and details so the issue can be reviewed.
For Hosts / Local Suppliers
What can I list on MY IVVI Rentals?
You may list approved rental items and equipment that are lawful, safe, accurately described, and suitable for rental through the platform.
How do I list an item?
Create a listing, upload clear photos, add a description, set pricing, choose booking settings, add delivery details if applicable, and publish once the listing is complete.
How do I set my rental price?
Hosts set their own rental price, deposit amount, cancellation setting, and delivery terms, subject to platform structure and applicable rules.
How do I get paid?
Payout timing and method depend on the booking and platform setup. Payments are processed through available platform payment methods such as Stripe or PayPal, subject to booking completion, final payment, and any applicable review or hold period.
Can I decline a rental request?
Yes. If your listing uses approval-based booking, you can review and accept or decline requests. Instant booking listings may follow the rules selected in the listing settings.
Can I require a security deposit?
Yes, where the platform and listing settings allow it. Deposit handling is governed by the Security Deposit and Damage Policy.
Can I offer delivery?
Yes. Hosts may offer pickup, delivery, or both, depending on the listing and operational limits.
What if my item gets damaged?
Guests are responsible for loss or damage that happens during the rental period, subject to the Security Deposit and Damage Policy. Hosts should document the item condition before and after each rental.
Can I list licensed or business-use equipment?
Yes, but only if the listing clearly states the licensing, business-use, operator, or qualification requirements and the rental complies with applicable laws and safety rules.
Payments, Deposits and Fees
What payment methods are accepted?
Available payment methods may include Stripe and PayPal, depending on checkout setup and the listing.
Is full payment required at booking?
Not always. Some bookings may require only a partial payment at booking, with the remaining balance due before pickup or delivery.
How do security deposits work?
Deposits may be collected separately and may be used to cover damage, loss, missing accessories, excessive cleaning, late fees, or other approved deductions under the applicable policy.
Are service fees refundable?
Service fees are generally non-refundable unless otherwise stated or required by law.
Are cleaning fees or late fees charged?
Yes, cleaning fees, late fees, or related charges may apply depending on the listing and the condition or timing of the return.
Trust, Safety and Rules
Is MY IVVI Rentals safe?
We use booking records, platform policies, identity checks where required, and review procedures to support safer rentals. However, users should still review listings carefully and follow all policies and instructions.
What items are not allowed?
Illegal, unsafe, prohibited, or misrepresented items are not allowed. Some items may also require licenses, operator qualifications, or business-use restrictions.
Are renters responsible for loss or damage?
Yes. Unless otherwise stated in writing, renters are generally responsible for loss or damage that occurs during the rental period.
Do you provide insurance or protection plans?
MY-IVVI Inc. does not currently provide a general insurance or protection plan for all rentals unless expressly stated for a specific listing or service.
