Booking Policy

This Booking Policy explains how bookings are requested, reviewed, accepted, confirmed, paid, changed, fulfilled, and completed through MY-IVVI Rentals Marketplace.
1. Booking Methods
Listings may be set to instant booking or approval-based booking. Where approval is required, the booking remains a request until the host or supplier accepts it and payment is successfully processed.
2. Eligibility to Book
Guests must be at least 18 years old and may be required to provide government-issued identification, payment verification, address confirmation, business details, or operator/license documentation, depending on the listing.
3. Business and Licensed Rentals
Some equipment may only be rented to business users, licensed operators, or customers using an approved operator supplied by the platform or host. If a listing has licensing or operator requirements, those requirements are binding.
4. Booking Information
The guest is responsible for reviewing the listing details before booking, including rental dates, fees, deposit requirements, delivery distance, delivery fee, cancellation policy, item condition, restrictions, operator requirements, and return terms.
5. Confirmation
A booking is confirmed only when all required steps are complete, including acceptance where applicable, successful payment, and completion of any required identity or eligibility review. MY-IVVI Inc. may reject, pause, or cancel a booking where fraud, mismatch, safety, licensing, or payment issues exist.
6. Partial Payment and Balance
MY-IVVI Inc. may collect 30% at the time of booking, with the remaining balance due before pickup or delivery. If the remaining balance is not paid on time, the booking may be cancelled, and the cancellation policy may apply.
7. Security Deposits
Deposits may be charged separately from the booking amount. Deposit rules are governed by the Security Deposit and Damage Policy. A booking may be denied or withheld if the required deposit cannot be placed, authorized, or collected.
8. Delivery and Pickup
Listings may offer pickup, delivery, or both. Delivery charges may depend on minimum delivery fee, per-kilometre pricing, maximum distance, access conditions, special equipment needs, and scheduling.
9. Communication
Guests and hosts must provide accurate contact details and respond promptly regarding scheduling, access, delivery timing, pickup instructions, return instructions, and operational requirements.
10. Booking Changes
Change requests for dates, duration, delivery location, or add-ons are not guaranteed and are subject to availability, host approval, revised pricing, revised delivery fees, and payment of any difference due.
11. Refusal or Cancellation by Platform
MY-IVVI Inc. may cancel or refuse a booking where there is suspected fraud, unsafe use, licensing non-compliance, item unavailability, incomplete identity review, misuse of the platform, or breach of policy.
