Terms and Conditions

These Terms and Conditions govern access to and use of MY-IVVI Rentals Marketplace, operated by MY-IVVI Inc., through rentals.my-ivvi.ca and any related pages, listings, forms, dashboards, booking tools, payment pages, communications, and services made available through the platform.
By accessing the website, creating an account, submitting or accepting a booking, listing an item, making a payment, requesting delivery, ordering materials, or otherwise using the platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions and all related policies referenced on the website.
- Platform Role
MY-IVVI Rentals Marketplace is an online platform that connects renters, guests, hosts, owners, suppliers, and service providers. Depending on the transaction, MY-IVVI Inc. may act as a marketplace operator, booking facilitator, payment processor, communications intermediary, supplier, service coordinator, direct host, or listing manager.
Some listings may be offered directly by MY-IVVI Inc. or its related businesses, and others may be listed by independent hosts or suppliers.
- Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into binding agreements to use the platform. By using the platform, you represent that the information you provide is accurate, current, and complete.
- Accounts
You may be required to create an account to access certain features. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity under your account.
MY-IVVI Inc. may suspend, restrict, or terminate any account that contains false information, unauthorized activity, abuse, fraud indicators, repeated policy violations, unpaid balances, or safety concerns.
- Listings and Accuracy
Listings must be accurate and not misleading. Listing information may include availability, rental pricing, deposits, delivery rules, item condition, usage restrictions, cancellation terms, pickup and drop-off hours, operator hours, additional fees, and other requirements.
Photos, descriptions, board-foot estimates, square-foot estimates, and material quantities may be approximate unless specifically confirmed in writing. Final measurements and actual dimensions may be verified on site before installation, delivery, or final invoicing.
- Booking and Order of Priority
A booking may be made through instant booking, approved request booking, invoice acceptance, quotation acceptance, or any other approved booking method made available by MY-IVVI Inc.
If there is any conflict between these Terms and Conditions, a listing description, a booking confirmation, an invoice, a quotation, listing-specific rules, or a signed agreement, the following order of priority will apply unless required otherwise by law:
- Signed quotation, signed acknowledgment, or signed rental agreement
- Booking confirmation, invoice, or accepted add-ons
- Listing-specific rules and pricing are shown on the booked listing at the time of booking

- Payments, Deposits, and Additional Charges
Payments may be collected through Stripe, PayPal, e-transfer, cash, certified cheque, bank transfer, or any other approved method shown on the platform or accepted by MY-IVVI Inc. or the supplier.
A booking may require a reservation payment, material deposit, security deposit, delivery fee, service fee, tax, credit card processing fee, or full prepayment, depending on the listing or transaction.
Additional charges may apply for:
- extra rental days
- overtime
- after-hours use
- waiting time
- failed delivery or pickup
- inaccessible site conditions
- fuel
- cleaning
- damage
- missing accessories
- extra labour
- extra materials
- approved scope changes
- redelivery or reattendance
- special handling or logistics
Deposits may be non-refundable where clearly stated before booking or as otherwise permitted by law.
- Material Orders and Supplier Pricing
Material prices are subject to supplier pricing, freight, taxes, and market increases. Quotes for material are time-sensitive and may be revised before payment is received.
No material price is locked unless the quote or invoice specifically states that pricing is held until a stated date and the required deposit or payment is received before that deadline.
Special-order materials, supplier-direct orders, and materials ordered specifically for a job may be non-refundable and non-cancellable once ordered.
- Supplier and Delivery Delays
MY-IVVI Inc., Spray Foam GL Inc., hosts, operators, and suppliers are not responsible for delays caused by manufacturers, carriers, weather, warehouse scheduling, traffic, freight issues, product shortages, or other events outside reasonable control.
Delivery dates and project dates are estimates unless specifically guaranteed in writing.
- Cancellations and Refunds
Cancellations and refunds are governed by the cancellation policy shown on the listing, these Terms, and any listing-specific policy or signed agreement.
Reserved operator time, custom scheduling, special deliveries, ordered materials, custom quotes, and approved add-ons may make all or part of a payment non-refundable where clearly disclosed before payment or where otherwise permitted by law.
Service fees, processing fees, and certain supplier charges may be non-refundable unless required by law.
- Deposits, Damages, and Cleaning
Security deposits, deductions, damage claims, inspection procedures, cleaning charges, repair costs, technician charges, and missing-item charges are governed by the Security Deposit and Damage Policy and any listing-specific rules.
Guests and renters are responsible for damage, misuse, unauthorized use, improper cleaning, clogged spray guns, contaminated lines, broken fittings, missing parts, unsafe operation, and loss occurring during the rental period unless otherwise determined by MY-IVVI Inc.
- Delivery, Pickup, Return, and Site Access
Pickup, delivery, return, and travel terms are governed by the Pickup, Delivery and Return Policy and the details shown on the listing.
The renter is responsible for providing accurate site details and safe access. Delivery or pickup may be delayed, refused, rescheduled, or charged additionally where the site is unsafe, inaccessible, blocked, too soft for heavy equipment, restricted by branches, snow, mud, terrain, or where no responsible person is present.
Waiting time, redelivery, reattendance, alternate drop location, or manual handling beyond normal access may result in additional fees.
- Equipment Use and Operating Limits
The renter must use equipment only for its intended purpose and in accordance with the listing, operating instructions, safety requirements, and any operator direction.
For spray foam equipment and similar specialty rentals, setup, warm-up, testing, maintenance, hose preparation, shutdown, cleanup, and required operator breaks are part of normal rental operation.
Daily output, board feet, sets sprayed, and completion timing depend on site conditions, job size, access, thickness, operator experience, weather, masking, scaffold use, hose movement, and maintenance requirements. No guaranteed production quantity applies unless specifically stated in writing.
- Verification and Insurance
MY-IVVI Inc. may request identification, business information, proof of address, proof of insurance, delivery details, operator information, site contact information, or other supporting records before approving a rental, delivery, material order, or service.
Where required, the renter is responsible for providing appropriate insurance and ensuring that the site is ready and safe for the booked service.
- User Conduct
You agree not to misuse the platform, submit false claims, engage in fraud, post unlawful or unsafe listings, harass other users, bypass the platform for confirmed bookings, misuse rented property, or violate applicable laws.
MY-IVVI Inc. may investigate and take action where misuse is suspected.
- Restricted and Prohibited Items
Certain items, services, or uses are not allowed on the platform. Prohibited listings and restricted uses are described in the Prohibited Items and Restricted Use Policy. MY-IVVI Inc. may remove any listing that creates safety, compliance, legal, insurance, or reputational risk.
- No Warranty
The platform and services are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, MY-IVVI Inc. disclaims warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, uninterrupted availability, or that any item or service will meet every user expectation.
- Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, MY-IVVI Inc. is not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary, or punitive damages, including lost profits, lost bookings, lost business, replacement costs, transport disruption, reputation loss, project delay, or supplier delay arising from use of the platform or any rental transaction.
Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded.
- Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless MY-IVVI Inc., its owners, affiliates, officers, contractors, hosts, suppliers, operators, and representatives from claims, liabilities, losses, costs, and expenses arising from your misuse of the platform, breach of these Terms, unsafe conduct, site conditions, equipment misuse, or violation of third-party rights.
- Suspension and Termination
MY-IVVI Inc. may suspend, restrict, remove, or terminate access to any account, listing, booking, or communication feature where necessary for safety, legal compliance, suspected fraud, repeated complaints, unpaid balances, or policy enforcement.
- Privacy and Personal Information
MY-IVVI Inc. collects, uses, discloses, and retains personal information only for reasonable business purposes related to account creation, verification, booking, payment, delivery, rental administration, support, safety, legal compliance, dispute resolution, and service improvement.
Personal information is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable privacy laws. We use reasonable safeguards to protect personal information and make our privacy practices available to users through our Privacy Policy.
- Changes to Terms
MY-IVVI Inc. may revise these Terms and Conditions from time to time. Updated terms take effect when posted on the website unless otherwise stated. Continued use of the platform after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
- Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws applicable in Ontario, Canada, unless mandatory consumer protection laws require otherwise.
